Two new memos regarding President Trump’s executive orders on immigration and border security have just been released by the Department of Homeland Security. One memo calls for immediate construction of the wall, while the other leaves intact President Obama’s amnesty program, also known as DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).
According to reports by Dailcaller, the memos which were released on Tuesday by the DHS direct agency employees to immediately start implementing President Trump’s executive orders on border security and immigration.
One of the two memos apparently calls for the immediate construction of a wall along the Mexican border, and the other memo declares that the amnesty program of Barack Obama won’t be affected by the executive orders passed by Trump.
Both memos were signed on Monday.
During his presidential campaign, Trump promised to get rid of Obama’s amnesty program for illegal immigrants which were brought to the U.S. as children, and he has still to fulfill this goal.
“DACA is a very, very difficult subject for me,” said the president during a press conference last week “It’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids.”
Around 1.5 million illegals have received deportation protection, work permits, a Social security number as well as access to welfare since it was implemented back in 2012. This can’t go on like this and it is a fact that everyone knows. The memos which were released on Tuesday have yet to grow and fulfill all of Trump’s campaign promises, but we’re sure that he won’t let us patriots down!
