Two Muslims from Dearborn, Michigan and New York City have just been arrested for plotting a terrorist attack within our borders, thanks to President Trump’s promise of “law and order.”
According to statements from U.S. authorities, the two men were explicitly contacted by a foreign terrorist organization which ordered them to find potential targets in New York and Panama.
The names of the two potential Hezbollah terrorists are Samer El Debek, age 37, Dearborn Michigan, and Ali Kourani, age 32, from Bronx, New York. An announcement has been made this Thursday claiming that the two men were arrested and were both charged with “providing support to a terrorist organization” in a Manhattan federal court.
Debek and Kourani were directly linked to the Hezbollah “Islamic Jihad organization” following military training which had been provided by the entity.
Further details explain how the men attempted to supply support for Hezbollah with El Debek searching for targets in Panama, as well as Israeli and American embassies. On top of that, he was looking into how close someone could get to the ships which pass through the Panama Canal, or for even the slightest flaw or exploitable weakness in the construction of the object. On the other hand, Kourani spent his time surveilling American targets such as military and law enforcement facilities in New York City.
According to the authorities, El Debek gave in to the FBI and confessed he was detained by Hezbollah from December 2015 until April 2016, after being falsely accused of spying for the U.S. However, it had been discovered that El Debek had made over 250 Facebook searches with words such as “martyrs of the holy defense,” “martyrs of Islamic resistance” and “martyrs of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.”
The head of the New York FBI office claims that this only shows New York City as the first target of many adversaries, as demonstrated by followers of determined terrorist organizations.
